Summary of ' Borrowers and Lenders - Language Enriching Eachother'
Through investigation of English language, it shows that the majority of our language has developed slowly over the years from Latin and French mainly, with other aspects of foreign languages involved. Words have been 'borrowed' and 'anglicized' throughout the years. It is still developing to this day and language has continuously bounced back and forth between England and France. It is also known both content and function words are borrowed. There is no such thing as a country with "pure language", this is simply a myth as countries have all shared the evolution of language. It does not happen rapidly due to the understanding of it being a struggle for everyone.
